V is for variety

Dear Feastlings,

Complain as someone may about the arbitrary nature of this Saturday’s tasting, I’d still wager that anyone who attends will still walk away from the tasting noting that, arbitrary or not, the wines were great.  This Saturday, our buddy Emilie will join us with four wines beginning with the letter V.  It began a couple of weeks ago when we tasted the Joseph Jibril Valdiguié and discussion of a Valdiguié tasting became something of a challenge to see how many varietals we could name that began with the letter V.  Some of them were easy, and some less so.  Here’s a smattering:

Ultimately, though, we sat down with Emilie and chose some fun stuff.  If you’d like to join us, the tasting begins at 2:00 on Saturday the 11th, and will cost $18 plus tax and tip, and you can reserve your seat by calling us at (520) 326-9363.  We’d love to have you join us.

Brought to you by the letter V
