Dear Feastlings,
Tired as you may be of tasting wines thematically built around the Thanksgiving table, I’ll note that Thanksgiving opens up the options of wines of virtually every stripe. Sparkling? That goes with a Thanksgiving meal. White? You bet. Pink? Orange? Red? Turns out there’s something appropriate in all categories for your Thanksgiving meal. This Saturday, our pal Rob returns with four wines suited to Thanksgiving, but suited to a broad spectrum of other meal choices as well. Therefore, Saturday’s tasting affords nearly everyone the opportunity to find a wine they enjoy, be it for Thanksgiving proper or for whatever other occasion brings people together at your table.
You know how this goes: give us a call at (520) 326-9363 and we’ll save a seat for you at the tasting this Saturday, November 16, at 2:00 pm. It’ll be $18 plus tax and tip, and you’ll meet your fellow wine nerds, you’ll learn a little something, and you’ll save on the wines, once because we’ll give you a discount for attending the tasting, and again because you’ll be getting the wines at pre-tariff pricing. Darned if you don’t win twice over.
Third time’s a charm
