Le ventre

Dear Feastlings,

We do French wine tastings a lot- the French are great producers of wine, as it turns out- but they’re often predictable: Burgundy, Bordeaux, the Rhône, what-have you.  And while there’s no reason to sniff at any of those time-tested appellations, there’s also no reason to sniff at taking a broader look at what our French friends have to offer.  For this reason, we’re excited to present a trip across the belly of France- we’ll taste from the Loire Valley, for sure, both a red and a white, but we’ll also peek into Beaujolais and the Jura, so we can taste wines from both the East and the West.  Our pal Megan will be here with us this Saturday at 2:00 pm, and we’ll get a good dose of wine from France’s abundant belly, plus the customary chitchat and education.

Want to attend?  Call us at (520) 326-9363 and let us know to save a seat for you.  Then show up on Saturday, February 3, at 2:00.  Bring $18 plus tax and tip, and we’ll supply the wine, the glassware, napkins and knowledge.  It’ll be delish.
