The remains of the day

Dear Feastlings,

If you’ve read Kazuo Ishiguro’s book, or seen the movie based on it, you’ll know why I can scarcely make it through one of his novels without falling into a depressed stupor, but the title of this tasting, mercifully, is where the resemblance stops.  This Sunday’s end-of-the-month tasting is based entirely on something else: the wine that’s left.  This Sunday we’ll taste four wines that we tasted and fell deeply enough in love with to grab all that remained in Arizona, so we’ll have some for sale after the tasting, but when it’s gone, sadly, it’s just plain gone.  Four really special wines will be poured in generous samples, alongside snacks that have been prepared to match the wines, and for $35 plus tax and tip, it can all be yours: the wines, the snacks, and chats with people from all over the place who bring these wines to us. Give us a call at 326-9363 and reserve your tastes, and then call quickly to get the wines before they disappear.

The tasting begins on zoom at 3:30 pm on Sunday, September 26.  The Zoom meeting number for the tasting is 893 4003 5093.  The passcode is 381151.
