Dear Feastlings,
Sometimes, that grape you’ve never heard of? It turns out you have. You’ve known it forever. Shiraz? Mataro? They’re Syrah and Mourvedre. For example. This Saturday, we’ll be opening up four wines whose names you may not recollect, but which you’ve likely tasted before in another iteration. The tasting is the customary $15 plus tax and tip, and samples can be picked up this Thursday, the 26th. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to grab those samples and log into the Zoom tasting on Saturday, August 28, to taste with us and our friends while we talk about four wines whose names are different, and whose terroirs are different as well, from the varietals you’ve known and loved and their more familiar appellations. Call us at 326-9363 and we’ll set the wines aside for you.
The tasting begins on zoom at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 28. The Zoom meeting number for the tasting is 833 1412 2622, and the passcode is 491376.
