Here, there and everywhere: Mobile Meals 50th anniversary dinner

Hello, Feastlings.

Like most cities built after the advent of motorized transportation, Tucson is not a walking town.  If you live within walking distance of all the goods and services you need, you are most assuredly in the minority.  So when people lose their mobility, there’s a threat to their basic needs being met.  Clothing and shelter, once you have them, are sustainable, but food is something that requires constant replenishment, whether it’s groceries if you’re lucky and still able to prepare your own meals, or prepared meals if you’re not only unable to drive but unable to navigate the kitchen.

Mobile Meals of Southern Arizona has been delivering meals through an amazing network of volunteers for fifty years now, and they’re celebrating with us and a bunch of other restaurants with a special night of food and drink.

50th Anniversary Celebration!

Here at Feast, we’ll be offering the special menu below, both here and, if you want to have it delivered to your doorstep, brought to you by a Mobile Meals volunteer.  You can reserve your spot for dinner, or your pickup or delivered meal, through their website.
