As another part of our program to feed various members of our community, Feast will be headed to the University of Arizona mall to feed three hundred volunteers who’ll be helping Tucsonans get vaccinated to get us to herd immunity on Wednesday, March 10. If you’d like to contribute by donating a meal, a dollar amount, or even a chocolate truffle cookie, you can send or drop off a check made out to Feast with “front line meal donations” written in the memo line, or you can call us with a credit card number at 326-9363. We’re honored to accept your contributions, and truly grateful- while you’re feeding front line workers, you’re also helping our crew put food on their tables as well. And for every 250 meals donated by the community at large, Feast donates an additional 50 meals, so once we reach our goal of 250 donated meals and add our own 50, any overage will go to the following week’s donation run to volunteers at Banner Health, who are doing the same thing- getting vaccines into arms. We’ll have more about that meal donation soon, but in the meantime, we thank you for your help, be it past, present or future.
