Hello, Feastlings.
While we didn’t get off to any exotic locales yet this summer, Kevin had pulled wines from four off-the-beaten-path little places that each has a distinctive character, not only geographically or even topographically, but oenologically. Txakolina will be found nowhere but Txakolina, and Grüner Veltliner from the Wachau is a singular experience found only in, well, the Wachau. This Saturday, August 31, you’ll get the opportunity to taste four wines completely reflective of the place from which they come, and you’ll leave here a happier person for having done so. The tasting is $12.50 plus tax and tip, and it happens at 2:00 pm. You’ll want (and need) to make a reservation, which can only be effectively done by phone or in person, as web and email reservations will not hold you a seat at the table. Give us a buzz at 326-9363 and we’ll make sure Kevin saves you a splash.
