Bon Jour, Feastlings.
If you’ve been coming here for any length of time, you likely already know of Kevin’s fondness for Picpoul, a grape not everyone knows about that makes its home in the southwest corner of France. And even for those who are familiar with Picpoul, and familiar as well with Kevin’s fondness for the varietal, it’s unlikely that without spending a good chunk of your time in the Languedoc, you’ve ever come across red or pink Picpoul. You’ll be met with just such a treat this Saturday, July 7, at 2:00 pm if you join us for the tasting. It’s only ten bucks plus tax and tip, and it’s probably that it’s the only Picpoul Noir or Picpoul Rosé that you’ll taste in the near future. There’s just not much that ever shows its face in the U.S., and even less so in Arizona. As such, we encourage you to give us a call at 326-9363 and reserve a spot (web and email reservations won’t guarantee you a seat.) It’s great summer drinking among friends.
Pick up a Picpoul.
