California Chardonnay

Dear Feastlings,

Yeah.  We know.  There are seemingly two camps.  There are those who like nothing more than the rich, opulent style of California Chardonnay as we’ve come to perceive it.  And then there are those who cast a supercilious glance and are unwilling to acknowledge its worthiness.  As it turns out, however, there are more styles of California Chardonnay than meet the eye.  This Saturday, February 24, at 2:00, you can taste a handful of them.  Kevin is pulling corks on four Chards from different spots in Napa and Sonoma, some rich, some crisp, with all manner of different subtleties to them, and you’re invited.  You’ll need to make a reservation by calling us at 326-9363 (web and email reservations won’t hold you a place) and you’ll need to bring a ten-spot plus tax and gratuity.  We’d love to see you.
