Hello, Feastlings.
Every once in a while, we come to the end of a vintage- there might only be a few cases left of something delicious, and it’s anybody’s guess what the as yet unreleased vintage tastes like. Or now and again, there’s a winery who parts ways with a distributor. In either case, there may be only a few cases of this, that or the other wine left to be had in the state of Arizona. We often respond by snatching up what’s left to be had since we don’t know whether we’ll see the wine at all, or at least not the vintage that’s become dear to us. This week’s tasting features all such wines; when we’re out of them, we’re out of them, so with any luck there’ll be enough to go around once you’ve gotten to taste them. Because we’ve gotten in all there is to be had. So if we’re lucky, there’ll be enough for all of you; and if we’re really lucky, there’ll even be a little bit left over for us. As usual, the tasting is $10 plus tax and tip, and as usual, you’ll need to call us if you want us to reserve a place for you at the tasting, as web and email reservations won’t be valid for it. The tasting is this Saturday, April 2, at 2:00 pm. We hope you can join us.
