Hi ho, Feastlings.
The warm weather is nearly upon us, and that, wine drinkers, means it’s time to think about stocking the fridge with crisp, clean white wines. You can see in our list that we’re committed to it, if evidenced only by the fact that we have four- count ’em, four- iterations of Melon de Bourgogne. For those of you unfamiliar with the grape, it’s the one they use to make Muscadet (the appellation from which it hails.) It’s crisp and bracing, minerally enough to be a close friend to oysters, bright enough to cut through the richest red meat or cream sauce. If you’d like to taste four of them with us, the time to do it is this Saturday, March 19, at 2:00 pm. Remember, web and email reservations won’t do the trick, so you’ll need to call us at 326-9363 to reserve your spot. It’ll come with a couple of snacks and it’ll only cost you $10 plus tax and tip. And there’s even a sparkly one. Yum.
