Che Syrah, Shiraz

Hello, dear feastlings.

While Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir have their followings, the red grape that’s dear to us here at Feast has always been Syrah.  We love them all, don’t get us wrong, but the wines we taste that invariably make us pause and look at one another in awe?  They’re Syrahs.  This week, Kevin’s pulling out four of them:

2011 Gerard Bertrand Minervois

2012 Jim Barry “The Lodge Hill” Shiraz, Clare Valley

2008 Taltarni “T Series” Shiraz, Victoria

2006 Terlato Syrah, Dry Creek

We think you’ll find them delicious, but you do have to find them.  The best way to do that is to come to Feast this Saturday at 2:00 and join us for the tasting.  As usual, it’s only ten dollars plus tax and tip, and the wines will be on sale (and in the case of the Terlato, super-sale.)  The only way to sign up for the tasting, though, is in person or by phone.  Web and email reservations will not hold you a spot at the tasting.  So give us a buzz and make a reservation: 326-9363.
