Dear Feastlings,
People dine out for a host of reasons, I know. Some of our guests are celebrating a birthday or anniversary, some are just grabbing a quick bite, some are having a business meeting. Far and away the thing I enjoy doing most is pairing food and wine, so on nights like tonight, when we have a private event that’s a dinner built around the wines, I’m at my most chipper. This Saturday, as it happens, it’s the last Saturday of the month, and that means a wine tasting, one with food pairings. The staff may be confused as to how pleasant I am this week. Anyhow, This Saturday at 2:00 pm, our friend and former coworker Megan will be with us, pouring and discussing small-production wines, and I’ll be in the kitchen, cooking up food pairings for each wine. Here are the details:
That all happens on the 29th, and then on the first of September, we begin the September menu, which we’ll be posting this weekend. There are other reasons to dine out, however. Shortly after we begin the new menu, Sonoran Restaurant week begins, and it’s an ideal time to dine out not only at Feast, but at 122 local restaurants.

There’ll be deals from $15 up to $55 for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and it will last through September 13th.
Meanwhile, on the 5th, we’ll be making another donation run, bringing a couple hundred meals, some donated by you, some donated by us, to GAP Ministries, to help people who are suffering from food insecurity, a group that’s unfortunately growing rather than shrinking. Thank you to those of you who’ve contributed to past, present and future donation runs. Loads of hungry people will be grateful to you, and so will we.
More soon from all of us at Feast,
Doug. And all of us at Feast.
