Southern Skies

Dear Feastlings,

We may have Orion and the Big Dipper, but on the other side of the Equator, it’s Alpha Centauri and the Southern Cross.  If you’re as tired of living in the Northern Hemisphere as we are, this Saturday is the ideal time to visit the South- the DEEP South- through our wine tasting.  Our buddy Rob will be here on Saturday, January 24th, with four wines in hand that come from the Antipodean side of the globe.  There’ll be Argentina represented, and Chile, and there’ll be South Africa and Australia, and the wines will all have an extra half a year of bottle age on them, as they’re all harvested during our springtime.

You can call us at (520) 326-9363 to have a save you a seat, and then all that’s incumbent upon you is to show up on the 24th by 2:00, bring $18 plus tax and tip, and ready yourself to taste wines whose grapes grew under the soft glow of the Jewel Box Cluster and the Coalsack Nebula.  Come join us if you like.
