Dear Feastlings,
Apologies for sending an additional note this week, but with all the fuss of last week’s end-of-month wine tasting, yesterday’s brand new menu, this upcoming week’s Sonoran Restaurant Week and next week’s Bodega Pierce wine dinner, I neglected to mention that this Saturday, like nearly all other Saturdays, we’ll be hosting a wine tasting at 2:00 pm. It may be a few degrees cooler out there now than it was last week, but it’s muggy enough that I’m still happy to drown my summer sorrows in copious amounts of Rosé. If you habitually turn up your nose at pink wine, I fear you may have been drinking the sweet stuff and never getting the opportunity to taste the dry, complex and refreshing stuff that we favor around here, and, as luck would have it, this Saturday’s tasting features four such wines. I believe you’ll likely stock up on these once you’ve experienced them firsthand. Here’s a blurb about the event:
And you’re still invited to take part in Sonoran Restaurant Week, our Bodega Pierce wine dinner, our September menu, or all of the above. I’ll keep it to one email next week, though. Really.
Love,
Doug
