Dear Feastlings,
Slow as it’s been, you’d think I’d have ample time to cohesively arrange all of our events on the website, and to send out timely emails explaining what’s coming up in the near future, but with both a sommelier and the sous chef who does most of the ordering both out of town this week, and with me disappearing last night to tell a story at Odyssey Storytelling, (it was an enjoyable time- now I see why the rest of the world doesn’t work nights. I wholeheartedly recommend you attend sometime, even- or especially- when I’m not onstage.)
https://www.odysseystorytelling.com/
only today have I gotten everything else posted and am dashing off this email before I frost a pink cake for an adorable child who’s fondest of pink above all other colors. So again, a short and to-the-point email. Know these things:
1. I’ll be at Arizona Public Media again on Tuesday, June 10th, from 9:00 to 11:00 am, and if you call in with your donation during my two hours of interrupting regular programming, you’ll be entrered in a drawing to win one of two gift certificates to Feast. I hope you’ll listen, or more importantly, donate.
2. The kind people of the American Wine Society have asked us to put together a tasting of summertime wines on Wednesday the 11th. It happens at 6:00 pm, and they’ve graciously allowed us to open it up to our guests as well as theirs. The wines will be served with paired amuses bouches, and the details are here:
3. We won’t be opening for dinner, but if you want to celebrate Father’s Day with a special dad in your life, we’ll be serving brunch on June 15th from 11 to 3. Here’s the list of specials we’ll be serving in addition to our regular menu:
And with that, I return to my cake, and I wish you a happy weekend.
Love,
Doug
