Dear, dear Feastlings,
It’s that time of year. The population of Tucson effectively doubles in February for a couple of weeks, but it will return to normal soon. In the meanwhile, however, of the special events we’re planning, we are, for this fleeting moment, booked up, or nearly so. Want to come to the wine tasting this Saturday? Call and get your name added to the waiting list. Someone usually cancels last minute, so it’s worth calling just in case.
Maybe you’re thinking of joining us for our special prix fixe menu on Valentine’s Day? If you put your name on the waitlist, you’re more likely to get that spot that someone gives up when they read this and discover that we’re doing a special prix fixe menu on Valentine’s Day.
Or did you want to meet Andrew Januik and come to the wine dinner with him and the wines of his family’s three wineries? We actually have two seats left for that one, so a call is warranted.
The only thing you need to consider is that if you want a seat that night for regular service rather than the dinner, it’s Fat Tuesday, so you should call ahead regardless. That’s because the crawfish etouffee we make every year sings a siren’s song to Tucson food lovers and we’ll fill up, especially given that Andrew Januik and his following will take up a third of the restaurant. Can’t make it on the 25? We’ll be serving etouffee on the 23rd and the 26th too, just for good measure. But we’d still suggest a reservation. Give us a buzz: 326-9363. We’d love to see you.
