There are some things I do well, though I don’t like to brag. I’m a good cook, I can talk some remarkably talented people into working together to create a dining experience that’s good for most (though admittedly not all). I used to be able to draw well and I probably could again if I put the time into it. But gardening has never come naturally to me. Lucky for me I married Laura. Not only is she remarkable in putting up with me through the construction of this beast of a restaurant; she can garden like nobody’s business. And while the fence that keeps the nighttime rapscallions off our patio could look unappealing and jaillike, Laura saw and seized the opportunity to make it a charming little garden. Thank you, Honey.
