Here’s a quick break to talk about the restrooms. Plumbing’s been added. Tile’s been added. Tile’s been removed. Then it will be added again. After a slight miscommunication with the tile installers, the trim has been first installed and then removed from the walls in the restrooms, but by now you know how we feel about our buddy Robin Riley, the mosaicist who made our original sign and the side panels on our new exterior signs. She’s making the border in one restroom, and Kathy Spain, who works in our kitchen and also happens to dabble in rolling out her own clay, glazing and firing her handmade tiles in her own kiln and assembling them into beautiful mosaics, is making the other.
