Hello, Feastlings,
While people seem to know where Châteauneuf-du-Pape is, or Burgundy or Bordeaux, wine is grown in nearly every nook and cranny of France, so we often find ourselves flummoxed when we stumble upon an obscure appellation we’ve not heard of and therefore don’t know what’s in the bottle. This week, we’ll trot out wines from four lesser-known appellations throughout the South of France, and give you the opportunity to broaden your horizons a bit from the behemoth appellations, into those nooks and crannies. The tasting of four red wines is $12.50 plus tax and tip, and we’ll start packing up samples on Thursday. If you’d like to join us, give us a buzz at 326-9363.
The zoom tasting begins at 2:00 pm on Saturday, march 27th, and the meeting number is 875 0653 4638. The passcode is 963830.
The tasting order and pricing can be found here.
