Spain beyond Rioja

Hello, Feastlings.

We fall into traps- when we think of California wine, we think of Napa.  In France, Bordeaux is our go-to.  And when we say Spain, you likely think Rioja.  But it turns out Spain has more area planted to grapes than any other country in the world, and there’s a lot more going on there besides Rioja and its predominant grape, Tempranillo.  On Sunday, for our Last Sunday of the Month tasting, we’ll be tasting wines from all over Spain, but not a Rioja in the bunch.  There’ll be food pairings and education abounding, and the wines are nothing if not delicious.  Give us a call at 326-9363 and reserve your tastes and snacks, and get ready to join us on Zoom at 3:30 on Sunday, February 28th.  The tasting is $35 plus tax and tip, and we promise a good time.

The zoom tasting begins at 3:30 pm on Sunday, February 28th, and the meeting number is 863 4258 4397, and the passcode is 865865.
