In association with Slow Food of Southern Arizona, everyone’s invited to a tasting of Sherry and Spanish cheeses. Kevin will be pouring four Sherries, and our friend and cheesemonger Christian English will be bringing four cheeses to accompany them. The tasting happens on Sunday, November 10, at 2:00 pm, and not only will it be delicious and educational, it’ll give you ideas for an ideal combination to sip and nibble on come Thanksgiving while you wait for that turkey to finish roasting. (On a side note, if you don’t want to wait for that turkey to finish roasting, we’ll be posting our Thanksgiving carryout menu in the next few days.) But if you’d like to join us for the Sherry and cheese tasting in the meanwhile, remember that web and email reservations won’t work, so you’ll need to call us at 326-9363 and have us hold you a seat. Then you’ll need to bring $25 plus tax and tip and prepare to learn a little something about Sherry, soleras, and Spanish cheeses. We hope you can make it.
