A bargain waiting to happen: Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Whatever that Sunday is Called

Dear Feastlings,

As you start thinking about what to get that deserving friend or family member, and whether you’d rather pile into a shopping mall with the rest of humanity or you’d prefer to stop at a small local business whose furthest parking space is a twenty-yard walk from the door, it might not hurt us to let you know that like most other businesses that day, we’ll be ushering in the holiday season with a sale on Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving.  The sale will continue through Small Business Saturday and As Yet Unnamed Sunday too, so if there’s a wine lover in your life, please know that we’ll have dozens (if not scores) of wines on sale next weekend, and even the wines that aren’t on sale will be available at a discount if you play your cards right.  Here’s how it works: you’ll see a number of wines at ten, fifteen, even twenty and twenty-five percent off, but if you’re in love with a wine that isn’t on sale, you can mix and match any six bottles the whole weekend and get ten percent off.  Wines that are already on sale won’t be further discounted, but they will most decidedly help you get to the magic number of six bottles.  ***Newsflash: we changed our minds.  You can now get even further discounting on the sale-priced wines when you buy six or twelve bottles (or more!)

The wines are offered on a first-come, first served basis, and the deal lasts as long as the wines are in stock (sorry, no rain checks,) but whatever the case, there are deal to be had, so consider swinging by to find that gift for the wine lover in your life.  We’ll see you soon.
